IKEA pops up in Brighton – Here’s the lowdown
Brighton’s about to get a whole lot more Swedish. IKEA is officially setting up shop in the city – starting with a pop-up opening this Friday in Churchill Square’s West Mall.
This isn’t just a random stack of flat-pack dreams either. The pop-up will stock around 150 home goodies – perfect if you’re itching to upgrade your storage game, fancy a kitchen refresh, or just need a new plant pot (because who doesn’t?).
Jacob Bertilsson, IKEA’s local boss, says the pop-up is all about giving Brighton a little taste of what’s coming later this year with their permanent store – also landing in Churchill Square. No official opening date yet, but summer’s looking pretty promising.
Oh, and if you’re on the hunt for a new job (or know someone who is), IKEA’s starting to recruit for the main store next week – though a few sneaky job ads have already popped up online.
Extra bonus: the pop-up will double as a parcel collection point. Order online, pick up in town. Easy.
So yeah – IKEA’s here, and Brighton’s about to get a whole lot more organised.
